Full course description
This course is designed to support you in completing the Computational Thinking micro-credential. This micro-credential is the first in the Wyoming Elementary Computer Science micro-credential series. The computational thinking concepts you will explore in the course include abstraction, algorithmic thinking, decomposition, pattern recognition, and testing and debugging.
The micro-credentials are completed using the Addie Booklets.
The micro-credentials were developed through a rigorous committee process including industry experts and teachers. The committee continues an ongoing evolution process to ensure high quality micro- credentials, well trained evaluators, and smooth process for all of our attempters.
There are opportunities for you as an attempter to work with a mentor, attend a “PLC” for training, and have any and all questions answered at any time. Please contact Steven Priest to set up an onboarding call. We look forward to assisting you in your journey through the micro-credential process sand earning your computer science endorsement.
The course has just one module.
