Full course description
This course is designed to support you in completing the Wyoming Secondary Computer Science (CS) micro-credentials in the Impacts of Computing stack:
Culture; Social Interactions; and Safety, Law, and Ethics
Teachers can elect to take this course to build their knowledge and understanding of key CS topics prior to completing and submitting their micro-credential(s) in the Impacts of Computing stack. You will begin to draft some of the artifacts required for the micro-credential submission as part of this course, but do not need to fully complete them until you are ready for your micro-credential submission.
The micro-credentials are completed using the Addie Booklets.
The micro-credentials were developed through a rigorous committee process including industry experts and teachers. The committee continues an ongoing evolution process to ensure high quality micro- credentials, well trained evaluators, and smooth process for all of our attempters.
There are opportunities for you as an attempter to work with a mentor, attend a “PLC” for training, and have any and all questions answered at any time. Please contact Steven Priest to set up an onboarding call. We look forward to assisting you in your journey through the micro-credential process sand earning your computer science endorsement.
