This course is designed to support elementary teachers in deepening their understanding of the Algorithms and Programming domain in the Computer Science Content and Performance Standard. This course is also designed to support teachers in completing the Wyoming Elementary Computer Science micro-credentials in the Algorithms and Programming stack:
Algorithms, Control, Modularity, Program Development, and Variables
The micro-credentials are completed using the Addie Booklets.
The micro-credentials were developed through a rigorous committee process including industry experts and teachers. The committee continues an ongoing evolution process to ensure high quality micro- credentials, well trained evaluators, and smooth process for all of our attempters.
There are opportunities for you as an attempter to work with a mentor, attend a “PLC” for training, and have any and all questions answered at any time. The course is organized into five modules, one for each micro-credential in the stack.
